  • Why use Handcrafted Solid Soap Over Liquid Soap?

    - Using soap bars is safer for the environment

    (No plastic containers)
    - Rubbing a bar is more effective at removing debris
    - Handcrafted soap bars have much safer/non-toxic ingredients.

  • Why Hemp Seed Oil?

    The Hemp Seed Oil that we use in our products will not cause someone to fail on a drug test. There is no trace of THC in the Hemp Seed Oil that we use.

    - Regulates skin's oil production

    (can even balance out oily skin)
    - Natural skin moisturizer without clogging pores
    - Natural antibacterial properties that does not harm skin
    - Plumps up the top layer of skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
    - Contains a significant amount of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids which are known to help with inflamed skin conditions.

    (Some of those conditions are acne, eczema, sunburns, and dermatitis, reducing swelling and redness)

  • What is that 5-6% of the ingredients that are not natural in most of Soap Sloth's soaps?

    The short answer is because the Scents and colors we put in our products are not natural.

    Fragrance - At the most, we will add 5% of our formulation with fragrance in our soaps and less for other products

    Fragrance in Soap-Making creates a strong and more long lasting Scent to our products. (Essential Oils tend to lose scent faster and will not Last nearly as long)

    Mica - We encorperate much less than 1% of mica coloerants into our products.

    A lot of our mica's are natural but there is a select amount that are not
